Roger Ford
Executive Director & Co Founder of Healing in America
Roger has been a Healer since 1978, and was trained by The Healing Trust (formerly NFSH), a non-denominational charity, based in England. It is the largest healing organization in Europe with over 6,500 members and from 1992-1995 Roger was Regional Chairman of the South West area, stepping down in April 1995 to devote more time to his healing and other interests. He is an accredited tutor for the The Healing Trust and brings his skills and over 30 years experience to run workshops throughout the US.
Roger has also worked at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre, a registered charity, which takes an integrated approach to health - allopathic and complementary therapies working together for the good of the patient. For 5 years, together with his wife Kim, he ran a Holistic Centre on the outskirts of Bristol, UK.
He actively encourages the link between the medical profession and healers, and has worked with a number of doctors and hospitals in the Southwest of Britain as well as in California. He dedicates time as a volunteer working in the oncology department of a hospital in California, doing his healing work, and currently runs a monthly Guided Meditation & Healing Circle for Cancer Patients and their care givers at Sansum Clinic, Santa Barbara and Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura.
Roger is committed to the development of spiritual and personal growth of people interested in healing . He is a regular speaker at the Omega Program of Santa Barbara City College, Continuing Education, and has appeared on television, both in Britain and US.
His many years experience in industry enable him to have a very “down to earth” approach to wellness and he is able to work on many levels with clients.
Roger sees clients at his practice in Ojai, California, but also does life coaching and distant healing for people who live in different parts of the country who are unable to see him personally.
He runs Healing Development workshops throughout US for those people wishing to develop their healing gift.
