The National Federation of Spiritual Healing (NFSH) was formed in 1954 in Britain by a remarkable man called Harry Edwards. He was a world renowned healer who drew in literally thousands of people to his healing demonstrations, the results of which would be shown to be permanent
He founded the NFSH in order to create an organization which would increase awareness and the integrity of spiritual healing. The strict guidelines in the training of healers, adherence to the code of conduct, and maintenance of the highest standards of its members enables us to strengthen the connection between healers and the medical profession.
That organization now has over 6,500 members, many of whom work alongside medical doctors, in hospitals, in hospices, integrated health centers and with veterinaries. It is a charitable trust and acknowledged to be the principal organization for spiritual healing in Europe, if not the world.
It is now represented by affiliated companies in Germany, Poland, New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Canada, Switzerland and since 2003 in the USA, when NFSH Healing in America was formed.
NFSH Healing in America identifies potential healers and encourages their development. There are comprehensive workshops which train people who are completely new to healing as well as providing further education for established therapists, and certification is available to attendees.
The high standard of training ensures clients will receive the same quality healing whether in New York, Seattle, Florida or Japan!
NFSH Healing in America is not associated with any religion it is totally non-denominational but it does see the source of healing as divine, leaving the interpretation of that source to the individual. The word “spiritual” refers to the quality of spirituality implicit in the healing process.
NFSH Healing in America aims to raise the consciousness of healing by participating in local events and national exhibitions, organizing lectures and demonstrations, also providing interviews and articles for the media, including radio and television.
A range of CD’s and books are available on healing and related subjects.
