Judgmentalism

Judgmentalism

For those of you who are healers – or working in the healing arts field will know - it is important not to make judgments on what clients tell us.

Often, we like to see ourselves as smart, generous, kind, patient and forgiving people – but in truth we probably aren’t.

We all have our flaws and being good 100% of the time is challenging if not impossible!

However, there is a big difference between making judgment and being judgmental.

Making judgments comes from a balanced and neutral mind. On the other hand, judgmentalism comes from an imbalanced and reactive mind that is seeking to protect itself from being hurt by others.

As a healer, clients do confide in you and you do hear some pretty horrific tales.

So, we need to put ourselves in our clients shoes and see the world from their perspective and be nonjudgmental, accepting them exactly the way they are.

Our job is not to give advice, not to criticize but to listen patiently to their issues – rebalance their energy systems and release any energetic “blockages” that are preventing them becoming well.

We can’t do this if we are judgmental.

With Love & Light.

Stay well,
Roger
